HI, I'M KAT...

I'm the founder of Byron Bumps Massage

Byron Bumps is my offering to the world of birth work, woman's health and matrescence ( the transitionary period when you become a mother)

I am a trained and qualified remedial massage practitioner, with extra experience from my years of studying Osteopathy.

As a mother myself, I can bring a natural lived experience and empathy to my work.

I offer massage for all stages of life, but my passion is for pregnancy, postpartum, miscarriage and abortion care.

I work both in a clinic space, and also offer home sessions when it is needed.

I aim to create a safe space for my clients, and pride myself on being inclusive and accessible. I offer a sliding scale of rates, please enquire if you feel you may qualify for a concession.

I am honoured to be living and working in Cavenbah (Byron Bay), home to the Bundjalung Arakwal people. I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, past, present and emerging.

WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?

We're all different

We all need different things from a massage.

Depending on where you are in your life journey, I offer a range of massage option to suit.

In my clinic space I see all kinds of clients. Pre-conception, remedial, cupping, relaxation, healing, pregnancy and motherhood massages take place in the clinic space within the beautiful walls of Nimbus and Co in the Byron Bay industrial estate.

For newly postpartum clients, clients with young children, those recovering from miscarriage or abortion, and clients with mobility concerns, a home visit may be more suitable. I have a mobile service available for clients in the Tweed, Byron and Ballina shire*.

Please note: My clinic space is unfortunately NOT accessible for prams or wheelchairs, and requires clients to climb stairs.

*A small fee applies for visits more than 20mins drive from Byron Bay,

LGBTQIA+ SAFE SPACE

All welcome

Throughout this website the terms "mother" and "mum" are used, however I want to acknowledge not all birthing persons identify as female and may prefer not to use these term for themselves.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF COUNTRY

I am honoured to be living and working in Cavenbah (Byron Bay), home to the Bundjalung Arakwal people. I acknowledge the rightful custodians of this land, past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
